9th Dan and is an official Karate System and style certified by the Independent Karate Schools of America (I.K.S.A.)

Independent Karate Schools of America
The Independent Karate Schools of America (I.K.S.A.) is the chartering body of American Tiger Karate Schools.
The I.K.S.A. was initially formed to charter and certify Karate schools that taught Traditional American Karate. Shortly after
it’s formation, the directors saw a need for the I.K.S.A. to become more than an organization representing only one
system of Karate and charted a new course for organization.
Characteristic of many Karate Schools in the United States is the strong desire to remain independent. Most
Martial Art organizations have rules and regulations that must be followed by their member schools. The directors of the I.K.S.A.
decided to fill a void for independent Karate schools and certify their head Instructors while allowing them to retain their
own System, forms, and structure. The I.K.S.A. currently accepts applications from independent Karate schools through-out
the United States. After a review of their system, advancement procedures and requirements, and their teaching procedures,
the schools that are accepted are granted a charter and a certification for their Head Instructor.
